Grid info: Sequence No
Sequence No. (short for race sequence number) is simply a number that indicates the
order in which the races were run prior to the race and after the race (for Results and LBH).
- The sequence number is different for pre-races grids and post-races grids.
- The sequence number in the post-races grids starts from 1 (one).
- The sequence number in the pre-races grids starts from the very first race ever run by any horse
in that race. So the first sequence number shown could be quite high for races containing horses with long histories.
- Races run on the same day will have the same number.
Usage
The sequence number is used by a form studier to determine in which order the runs took place. This
information can be useful in determining a form of a horse.
